Holiday Party Makeup using MUA eyeshadow Palettes and MAC Diva

Today i thought i'd share with you a little tutorial on the makeup i'm going to be wearing for a Christmas meal tomorrow evening, i think it's the perfect mix of glitz and glamour with golden eyes and a vampy lip. So keep reading for my tutorial and i hope it makes sense to you :)

(Sorry about the lighting, even though i shot these photos this morning it was such a dull day which made it a nightmare to take decent photos.)

I'm all moisturized and primed ready to go, I currently use the Effaclar duo as my moisturizer and I've actually run out of primer and am holding off till after Christmas as i suspect i'll be getting the Smashbox photo finish primer.

Step 1. Apply your concealer, at the moment i have been using the Maybelline fit me concealer.

Step 2. Apply your foundation, I'm using the Bare Minerals Ready foundation in R330. You are right in thinking that i was using R410 not long ago, but it was too dark so i changed it, hopefully i can use the R410 in the summer.

Step 3. Contour, I use the contour powder in my Sleek Face Form in medium.

Step 4. Highlight, I use Sleeks Luminous pressed powder in the shade 02 and sweep it over the centre of my forehead, nose and across my cheekbones.

Step 5. Apply Blush, I'm currently using Nars Gilda.

Step 6. Fill in eyebrows. I use my brow pencil to outline my brows and then blend it through with an angled brush. I then use the powder from my MUA Pro-brow kit and blend it through.

Step 7. Take Shy from the Undress me too palette and with a larger fluffy brush sweep it all over the lid.

Step 8. With an angled brush take the shade Dreamy and take it round the outer corner and into the crease.

Step 9. Then from the Undessed pallete take Shade 6 with a short fluffy brush and pat onto the centre of the lid, then blend it all out to soften any harsh lines.

Step 10. Line your eyes. To line my waterline i use a Loreal Khol in black, and to create the catflick, i use a gel liner by Bobbi Brown.

Step 11. Apply lashes, pretty self explanatory, I like using the 100 super full Eylure lashes.

Step 12. Apply lipliner and lipstick, i decided to use an MUA lipliner in Brooding Plum and MAC's Diva.

And Voila
